Here at Cross Works Physiotherapy, we value moving your body with group encouragement and support. Learn and exercise in a small group of people who are all working towards a common goal.
The GLA:D Program
- GLA:D Canada is an 8-week education and exercise program for those with stiff and/or painful knees and/or hips, or those with knee and/or hip osteoarthritis.
- Research from GLA:D in Denmark shows participants report less pain, reduced use of painkillers, fewer individuals on sick leave, and being more physically active.
- 2 education sessions and 12 Neuromuscular Exercise Sessions
- Classes are held Monday and Wednesday at 3pm or 5pm
- Take out 4 pictures on page and add this under all the information at the bottom
Active With Arthritis
- Take your exercise program to the next level with our advanced arthritis exercise program. Whether you are trying to avoid seeing a surgeon or you want to impress them, this class is for you!
- Classes are held Monday and Wednesday from 9:30am-10:30am
Postpartum Fitness
- A 6-week exercise program to help new moms get back to the activity and function that means the most to them
- Classes are held Monday and Wednesday from 10:30am-11:30am
- Babies are welcome!
Gentle Fit Physio
- Do you have fibromyalgia? Are you looking to manage your symptoms and learn how to move better?
- Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursday from 9:30am-10:30am
Runner’s Injury Prevention and Speed Work
- Classes are held Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:30am-10:30am
Prenatal Exercise Class
- What: 6 week exercise/and education program to help people get active and feel empowered in their pregnancy.
- When: Tuesday's and Friday's 4-5 pm at Cross Works Physiotherapy.
